Program Highlights

This is a holiday as much as a bootcamp. It's the perfect blend of relaxation, fitness training, excursions and activities.
It works! You will be amazed at your fitness improving efficiently with group training sessions every day.
It's really motivating - especially when training with people who all want the same thing!
There is nothing stopping you from reaching your fitness goals with lots of fitness training sessions and activities.
We use proven advanced fitness training techniques coupled with various different classes, so no matter what your fitness goals, we can help you smash them. All of our fitness programs are taught by professional fitness trainers.
Discover how great you will feel training and exploring beautiful Mallorca including nature treks to hidden beaches, stand up paddle adventures, cycling, beach volleyball sessions and a great social scene.
You will meet like-minded people and make lifelong friends. If you are traveling alone, you won’t be on your own for long, as it’s a very welcoming environment and we will hook you up on Facebook prior to arrival.

Itinerary

Below is an example of what you can experience during a week of Fitness Bootcamp. The majority of the workouts and classes take place in the outdoors. We have a specific training area set up at the beach house, although some training sessions are taken on the beach.

Sunday: Arrival Day
Ready? Excited? You can arrive at any time on Sunday and check in after 14:00. After checking in, you are free to chill at the villa, hit the beach, make use of one of the free bicycles or do some stand-up paddling. A group orientation, introduction and getting-to-know-you session will take place at 17:00 at the UF Beach House accommodation.

Monday to Friday
1) Sunrise Yoga
What a way to wake up. An early morning sunrise yoga session to stretch your muscles and ease you into training at 07:45. Sessions take place on the roof terrace overlooking the ocean, national park and Sierra Tramontana mountain range.

2) High-Intensity Interval Training (HITT)
You're about to experience cardio conditioning that will completely transform your body. It's a challenge, but our amazing instructor can modify the toughest moves to help you push yourself at any level. The class is made up of four specific blocks to push every part of your body to its maximum. Each block contains 3 sets of 3-minute high-intensity training, with a 30 sec recovery between each set, pushing you to your maximum to achieve incredible results. No equipment or weights needed, just 100% commitment. The sessions may take place in the national park, in and around the villa, on the beach or in a number of different training areas. These training sessions will increase your fitness levels very quickly.

3) Body 360
It is an all over cardio and body pump workout. Classes are geared towards those looking for less heavy exercises and weightlifting, but still earning a huge calorie burning 45 min. sweat-fest. Typically we break the groups up into different stations, each station having its own set of exercises and reps. Then we rotate at set intervals. Because you tend to work out with partners, it's a really bonding experience and everyone's pushing each other to perform as best as they can. Sessions will never be the same from day to day, so you hit every muscle group and keep your body guessing. These sessions are great as they allow you to train your whole body in 1 short hour. Suitable for complete beginners to advanced athletes, every exercise is explained beforehand and carefully monitored during the workout to make sure good form is maintained. Typically we might use battle ropes, kettle bells, dumbbells, TRX and good old-fashioned burpees to name a few. The classes are designed to be more aerobic based in nature, but will also include HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) principles, and a wide array of techniques to ensure hitting most all cardiovascular pathways and muscle groups. Most of the core fitness training will be achieved during these classes.

4) Stand Up Paddle
Depending on the water conditions we have a daily stand-up paddle session. The Bay of Pollenca has crystal calm flat water in the morning and is the perfect place to do some stand-up paddle due to it being relatively shallow and exceptionally beautiful. Early risers can treat themselves to a sunrise session. Roll out of bed, grab a board and you are on the beach ready to go in under a minute! Don´t worry if you have never tried this before, w also include a lesson on the Monday with our professional SUP team. Stand-up paddle is very good for your core strength and stability. Session done right would be better than doing countless crunches and it’s a lot more enjoyable!

5) Beach Time or Kite Surfing
Time for some much needed R&R. Hit the beautiful beaches of Port De Pollenca, or learn to kite surf with a 9-hour course (local payment of EUR390).

6) Beach Training or Volleyball
At 18:00 we do beach training, which is another body HIIT style session. Alternatively we play beach volleyball, which is a fun effective way of getting the blood pumping. Let's hope you don't get too competitive!

7) Nature Treks
We include two nature treks each week. One to a beautiful beach through a stunning valley on Monday evening, and another through the mountains to a aquamarine bay, where those brave enough can go cliff jumping! The treks take you through a global heritage site, but are not physically strenuous, so everyone can join.

Evening Activities
At approximately 19:00, it's time to head back to your accommodation for showers before heading out with the rest of the group for dinner in the local town to soak in the night time atmosphere.

Saturday: Excursion Day
Early risers are able to enjoy a beautiful sunrise SUP session, or perhaps you may prefer to lie in. After a healthy breakfast at 08:30 on Saturday, it's excursion day! There is a range of options for excursions depending on the preference of the group. Some of these excursions are free and others incur a local charge. There is no training today as this is rest day.

Some of the excursion options include:
Speedboat hire Minimum four persons EUR 100 per person includes a captain, fuel and boat hire for 4 hours
Formentor Beach We catch a glassbottom boat across to one of the most beautiful beaches. The journey takes 25 minutes from Puerto Pollensa to Formentor; the views of the bay along the way are impressive. You can get a closer look at the lighthouse at Cap de Formentor and La Fortaleza, one of Spain's most impressive estates featured in the BBC's Night Manager. It is an open ticket; you can choose the timetable you prefer to come back, so the choice of options is flexible and you are not in a rush.
Formentor look out Head up to a beautiful world heritage site with dramatic clifftop views.
Water Park Excursion Entrance fee not included
Pirate Boat Experience Five hours exploring the bays beaches and cliffs of Majorca on a pirate cruiser including snorkelling equipment, lunch and pick-up and drop-off from the villa. EUR 60 per person.

Sunday: Check-Out Day
Sunday is a rest day. If you are checking out you will have to check out of your room by 10:00, but you are welcome to chill by the villa if you have a later flight. Say goodbye to your new friends and hello to maintaining a new healthier better you!

Please note the above itinerary can change, so the above is to be taken as an indication of what you will achieve, but it is not set in stone.

Locations Of Activities

While "the hub" of the Bootcamp is set at the Beach House, locations for activities are spread out through the local area. You will be given a bicycle upon check-in, which will be your mode of transport for the majority of the Bootcamp. The furthest distance you would have to cycle would be 15 minutes and approximately 3 km to get from the beach house to the local town centre of town. The area is well connected with bike paths and is completely flat, along the ocean promenade. Should you wish to go to the local town by taxi, it's EUR6 (shared with a maximum of four others).

Pre-Departure Info

We give you lots of support prior to arriving at the camp. After booking, we will set you up with an online buddy list so you can chat with other people going to the camp, or people already training at the camp before you even set off. You will also receive a detailed pre-departure pack for you to familiarise yourself with the program before you go.

Activiteiten

The location in Port de Pollenca is superb and there is plenty to do in the area. The beaches are a short taxi drive away (there is access to the sea directly infront of the villa) and there are little bars and restaurants located nearby, but it's not really a drinking culture. This is a fitness training bubble, where you will find healthy eating restaurants, stunning scenery, and beautiful treks awaiting you.

Accommodatie

Depending on group numbers, we use multiple accommodation options in the local area on a shared basis. The bootcamp hub is at the UF Beach House and Annex where up to 20 people are accommodated and breakfasts and lunches are taken. The standard Beach House or Annex option consists of shared dorms (max 4 per room). It is located right next to the training areas, yoga terrace and stand up paddle. Working out and living together is a very bonding experience, it's a great way to make friends. Don't worry about needing your own space also. The villa is sufficiently big with plenty of chill-out areas for you to catch some quiet time, too.

Due to the nature of the fitness Bootcamp, people do not tend to have late-nights the villa. You will be exhausted! So you can expect to get a good nights sleep in fan-cooled rooms. If you do feel like chilling, there is a wide selection of movies.

While we endeavour to put our clients on same-sex dorms, please note we do operate mixed dorms as well. So if you would prefer sharing with members of the same sex, please notify us at the time of booking.

Lokaal vervoer

Arriving in Palma de Mallorca, there is a super easy A32 bus service directly from the airport to the local town of Alcudia (extra cost approximately EUR8). The bus journey takes about one hour. On arrival in Alcudia a member of our friendly team will be waiting to meet you off the bus (just look for a sign with your name), and transfer you to your accommodation. The transfer to our centre takes approximately 10 minutes (4 km).

Maaltijden

Healthy breakfasts daily (fruit, yoghurt, smoothie options, muesli, and eggs) and buffet style lunches (Monday to Friday) are included in the program. Dinner is taken out (at own expense) in the nearby town of Port De Pollenca (there are no cooking facilities at the villa). We can cater to vegans and vegetarians, please just inform us prior to your arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fit do I have to be before I join?
We get people of all fitness levels joining the camp. Do not worry that you will not be able to keep up, just focus on your own fitness level and progress. We guarantee you will see an improvement

What kind of results can I expect?
Everyone is different, and everyone has different goals. Some people are unfit and others have a reasonably good level of fitness when they begin. No matter what category you fit into, you will benefit from spending time training here.

There is a very motivating, social and supportive atmosphere at the camp as everyone supports each other in reaching their goals. Combined with the superb trainers, numerous and varied scheduled group training classes, and a world-class training facility and gym, there really is nothing that can hold you back. Exercising is quite addictive once you get into it!

How long should I go for?
The majority of people stay between 1 and 2 weeks. Staying short-term, the main benefit you will take with you is the knowledge of how to maintain and improve your health and fitness back home along with a solid fitness routine. If you are really serious about improving your fitness and well-being, then make this a life-changing trip and go long-term and experience a complete physical and mental transformation.

Can I train if I have an existing injury?
Because each exercise can be tailored to the abilities of everyone in the class, no matter what your fitness level, you are able to join the fitness boot camp even if you have an existing sports injury. Simply make the trainers aware of your own personal physical circumstances and they can tailor the exercises accordingly.

What do I need to bring?
Training clothes, trainers and a workout towel. We also advise you bring a beach towel and several training tops. You will need to bring your own padlock for your trunk when staying in shared accommodation.

No class is mandatory, and no one is going to force you to get out of bed. Classes and timetables can change at the camp so the above is a guide of what you should expect, however may not include all classes on offer.

Closed Dates
The bootcamp starts every Sunday between 1st June and Mid September.
