Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park (L/D)
You will get picked up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi in the morning. Drive to Tarangire National Park, home to more than 300 elephants. This park is also well-known for its huge baobab trees. You can find he migratory wildebeests, zebras and bufalos on their journey to find drinking water. Enjoy your afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch on the way.
Overnight: Heaven Nature Campsite
Today, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater UNESCO World Heritage site.
Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater (B/L/D)
Today you will wake up early and drive down the 600m high walls of the Ngorongoro Crater. Here you can marvel at the unique views of the high altitude rainforest that surrounds the crater's rim upon arrival. Views from the rim of the crater are spectacular! The crater has become a unique conservation area where Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo roam in perfect safety. Overnight at Heaven Nature Campsite.
Head into Lake Manyara and if you are lucky you will see the famous tree-climbing lions! In afternoon head back to Moshi or Arusha.
Lake Manyara National Park–Arusha/Moshi (B/L)
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park. It is located within the Great Rift Valley and is famous for its tree-climbing lions. The park also provides perfect home to Tanzania's bird life, you can spot pink flamingos and more than 400 different species of birds. In the afternoon head back to Arusha/Moshi or Kilimanjaro airport.
Camping Option: If you book the camping option, the accommodation is on public, government-owned campgrounds. Please note, when camping you may be required to assemble your own tent.Camping tents do not have additional inside mosquito nets,however,the door and windows have mosquito proofing.
Sleeping Bag Hire: Sleeping bags can be hired for $10USD per day.
Children's rates are 75% of the adult rate under 12 years old and free under 3 years.
