You will be picked up from your hotel (in Mirissa area) and drive to Udawalawe to enjoy a jeep safari at Udawalawe National Park.
Udawalawe National Park
Udawalawe National Park lies on the boundary of Sabaragamuwa & Uwa Province, and it is one of the world's best places to see wild elephants. At the center of the park lies the Udawalawe Reservoir, which provides water for agriculture and hydro-power generation spread over an area of 30,821 hectares. It is mainly a thorny-shrub jungle with grasslands. Udawalawe is undoubtedly the best place in Sri Lanka to see wild Asian Elephants throughout the year, there are about 500 elephants in the park, and they often roam in herds of up to 100. Water Buffalo, Wildboar, Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Jackal, Samber, Black-naped hare, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, as the endemic Toque Macaque and Gray Langers are other creatures can be seen in the park. This park is also known for a good bird watching site in Sri Lanka.
Upon completion, transfer to Mirissa.
