Day 1: Marrakech, Morocco

Welcome to Morocco! We'll be waiting to collect you from the Marrakech airport. You'll have the rest of the day at your leisure.

Welcome to Morocco! We'll be waiting to collect you from the Marrakech airport and bring you to your accommodation in the city.
Please note that the final information about exact pick up point will be confirmed 24hrs prior to the time of departure by our local team.

Day 2: Marrakech, Morocco

Today, you'll get to know our beautiful city on a guided tour led by a local expert - from colourful souks (markets), the Medina (old city) and a range of important historical monuments and palaces.

Today, you'll get to know our beautiful city on a guided tour led by a local expert. Marvel at the bustling Jemaa El Fna Square with its snake charmers, storytellers and food merchants. Explore its colourful souks (markets), the Medina (old city) and a range of important historical monuments. We'll pass beautiful palaces and mosques such as the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs. When the tour is over, you'll have the afternoon free to explore where you please. Why not check out the Menara Gardens or have a delicious tea on the terraces?

Day 3: Marrakech - Dades, Morocco

Today, we'll visit the UNESCO site Ait Benhaddou for a guided tour. After a few stops along the way, we'll arrive in Dades.

Ait Benhaddou and Dades Valley (B/D)
Today, we'll make our way to the spectacular fortified village of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This is a well-known castle that belonged to the Glaoui Paska and is today considered a UNESCO World Heritage site. After spending some time here, we'll head towards Ouarzazate and several Berber villages that are known for their big palm trees, the Kasbahs, and the Ksours. When we arrive in Dades, you'll have some time to yourself.

Day 4: Dades - Merzouga, Morocco

Today, we'll visit the gorges of Todra and visit some local towns to try the delicious 'Berber pizza'. Later in the day we will take a sunset camel ride into the desert and make our way to tonight's traditional nomadic campsite where you'll be treated to dinner and music.

Merzouga - Berber towns - Merzouga (B/D)
After breakfast, you'll take a ride over the Dades Gorges before we continue our journey across to Merzouga. Our first stop are the gorges of Todra where we'll appreciate the beauty of these spectacular limestone river canyons. We'll then continue via the town of Tinjdad, Touroug and Erfoud where we'll be making a stop to let you try the delicious 'Berber pizza'. Known locally as 'medfouna', it's a type of flatbread that was traditionally baked in the sands of the Sahara. We'll continue our journey passing by the panoramic valley of Ziz, as we make our way to the place where we'll spend tonight - the Merzouga Desert. We'll hop onto camels to trek over the sand - what better way to see a desert? To wind down this wonderful day, you will enjoy a tasty local dinner in a nomadic campsite. Sit back and star-gaze into the desert sky and enjoy some local music.

Day 5: Merzouga - Fez, Morocco

After watching the sun rise over the desert, we'll head back to Merzouga by camel and then get back on the road to Fez. Along the way, we'll stop by a monkey-filled cedar forest and the city of Ifran. We'll arrive in Fez in the evening.

We'll wake up early today to marvel at the sunrise over the desert - it's a magical sight. After breakfast, we'll make our way back on camels to a hotel in Merzouga where you'll have a chance to freshen up. We'll continue our journey towards Fez, passing through Erfoud and Errachidia Shara towns. We'll proceed via Midelt to Azrou where we will pause briefly in the cedar forest to spot cheeky monkeys in the wild. We'll next make a stop at Ifran, known as the 'Switzerland of Morocco' for its alpine feel and European style. We'll arrive in Fez in the evening and you'll be dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 6: Fez, Morocco

Today, you'll be getting to know the magnificent city of Fez via a guided tour. To walk the streets of its Medina is to feel like you've gone back in time.

Today, you'll be getting to know the magnificent city of Fez via a guided tour. To walk the streets of its Medina is to feel like you've gone back in time. Marvel at the areas like the Andalusian neighbourhoods, plus the magnificent mosques and Koranic schools. We'll also visit the famous Al Qaraouine University which is the oldest in the region, the tanners, the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarters, the leather and ceramic cooperatives and more. We will finish the visit with panoramic views of the entire city.

Day 7: Fez, Morocco

Today, you'll be getting up close to some important and fascinating historical sites, including Walili Volubilis, We'll then head to Meknes city to visit the Bab El Mansour gate, Moulay Idris Zerhoun and other historic spots.

Visit to Volubilis, Meknes and Moulay Idriss (B)
Today, you'll be getting up close to some important and fascinating historical sites. We'll depart Fez to first visit the Roman ruin of Walili Volubilis - commonly considered the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. Explore these great ruins and marvel at the history. Next, you will visit Meknes city to visit the iconic gate of Bab El Mansour, the impressive town of Moulay Idris Zerhoun and other historic spots that Meknes is famous for. We'll return to Fez for your last night.

Day 8: Fez - Casablanca, Morocco

Today, we'll drop you off at Casablanca airport in time for your flight. Depending when it is, we may be able to also visit the great Mosque in Africa Hassan Second Mosque. Safe travels ahead!

Transfer to Casablanca Airport (B)
Rise and shine! All good things must come to an end, however we may be able to take you to visit the great Mosque in Africa Hassan Second Mosque in Casablanca, depending on the time of your flight. We'll then transfer you across to Casablanca airport. Safe travels ahead!
